What do you find beautiful about the Way? What I like is that regardless of what we have been, we can be one in heart. Consider Paul’s words as he wrote to a friend of his about his slave, who belonged to Paul’s friend, but the slave had run away and Paul converted him to Christ,

I am sending him back. You therefore receive him, that is, my own heart, whom I wished to keep with me, that on your behalf he might minister to me in my chains for the gospel (Philemon 12–13).

A preacher, a slave owner, and a slave all found unity in matters of the heart, because of what Jesus had done to the hearts of all three men.
