11.07.2018 – New Testament: Heb 4.16
To read the Bible in a year, read Hebrews 4 on November 7, In the year of our Lord Christ 2018
By Don Ruhl
If you are a Christian, do you go to the throne of the Lord boldly? If not, be sure to read Hebrews 4, especially verses 14–16 to find out why you can. Verse 16 says:
Let us therefore come boldly to the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need (Hebrews 4.16).
Going to the throne boldly does not mean with arrogance, because we should be humble before the Lord. Yet, we do not have to be ashamed going to Him to ask for help. He wants to help us, but He also wants us to ask Him for help.
Questions:
- What keeps you from going to the throne during times of need?
- When you have gone, what happened afterwards?
