How should a person be towards you that it would move you to show that person favor and good will? Why not be that person toward those around you that you might find favor and good will in their eyes, for you never know when you may need those things from them? The Bible says of Daniel, “Now God had brought Daniel into the favor and goodwill of the chief of the eunuchs” (Daniel 1:9).
God brought Daniel into the favor of the chief of the eunuchs because God taught Daniel how to be as a person, and God certainly worked behind the scenes to bring these things about.
Watch Daniel in action and you will not see a complaining and disrespectful man, but a man of contentment and honorable behavior towards all, whether they deserved it or not.
