There is just something about some people that they like to hurt others, as Hosea said of people long ago,
“A cunning Canaanite!
Deceitful scales are in his hand;
He loves to oppress.”
(Hosea 12:7)
The Lord does not take kindly toward those who do such things. Therefore, let us love to comfort instead.
