The Book of Leviticus taught the Israelites about bodily discharges and what men and women were to do about these matters, because the discharges made them unclean, until they went through a specified procedure.
This passage sums up what it was all about, “Thus you shall separate the children of Israel from their uncleanness, lest they die in their uncleanness when they defile My tabernacle that is among them” (Leviticus 15:31).
There were right ways and wrong ways to approach the Lord in worship, and that principle still lives.
We must be clean in the spirit when we approach the Lord. Therefore, let us seek forgiveness from our sins when we seek to honor Him in worship, for He is a holy God and the best way to honor Him is through our own holiness.
Do you know how to seek forgiveness from God?
