The Jews had read Psalm 16 many times, but did any of them see the resurrection of the Christ foretold? Peter quoted David in Acts 2:25-28, and David spoke for the Christ that His flesh would rest in hope, that the Father would not leave the soul of the Christ in Hades, that His body would not see decay, for the Father had made known to the Son the ways of life.
Praise God that He foretold this magnificent event, and praise God that this event happened!
Also, let us read all Scripture carefully, lest we miss something.
