Yes, it is the fad right now to exalt yourself, but that does not mean it is godly, for surely it is not.

Asaph warned the people not to exalt themselves (Psalm 75:4, 5), explaining that exaltation does not come from any place on earth (Psalm 75:6), “But God is the Judge: He puts down one, and exalts another” (Psalm 75:7).

Do you exalt yourself or wait for God to do it?
