Paul warned the Colossian Church not to fall for the false teachings of the world, or they might be tempted to think that their completeness as men and women would come from the world’s teachings that are not according to Christ (Colossians 2:8), but explained,

“For in Him dwells all the fullness of the Godhead bodily; and you are complete in Him, who is the head of all principality and power” (Colossians 2:9-10).

You see, in Jesus Christ dwells the entirety of the fullness of God, yes, all embodied in that one Man, and so He can make us complete when we are in Him.

Why then look for it anywhere else?
