For us to turn our backs on the Son of God and reject Him brings on the most serious consequences, so much so that the Bible says,

“It is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God” (Hebrews 10:31).

Interestingly, the writer did not specify what will happen, but leaving it unsaid gives us the impression that it is so horrible, he just could not write it.

May none of us ever find out just how bad it can be to fall into the hands of the living God.
