Sometimes the shepherds of God’s people just do not do their jobs. Therefore, the Lord does it Himself, but that is no relief to the shepherds, for He will deal with them according to His righteousness, but He will take care of the people who want to follow Him.

He will bring them out from all the places where they have fled, and will bring them to where they belong.

He will feed them what they need, giving them the best. Truly, He will

“seek what was lost and bring back what was driven away, bind up the broken and strengthen what was sick; but [He] will destroy the fat and the strong, and feed them in judgment” (Ezekiel 34:13-16).

Are you a shepherd of a local congregation of God’s people? Do your job!

Are you a sheep who has gone astray? Turn to the Lord and He will turn to you!
