Peter said that the world will think that you are weird because you do not engage in the same rowdy life that they do (1 Peter 4:4), and he also revealed,

“They will give an account to Him who is ready to judge the living and the dead” (1 Peter 4:5).

Sometimes their persecution is hard to take, but remember that they shall give an account to God for the way that they live, and He is ready to do the judging.

He has waited for a long time, according to the way we see things, but He is waiting for them to repent, even as He waited for you and me to repent.

Now, you are ready for His judgment, but they are not. Let us, therefore, pray for them that they turn from their ways and that God show them mercy even as He has shown us mercy.
