In Matthew 6:9-13, Jesus explained the manner in which we ought to pray:
“Our Father in heaven, Hallowed be Your name.” — Reverence God!
“Your kingdom come.” — The kingdom comes first (See verse 33).
“Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven.” — Acknowledge that God runs things.
“Give us this day our daily bread.” — He is the greater giver.
“And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors.” — Forgive, if you want to be forgiven.
“And do not lead us into temptation, but deliver us from the evil one.” — You are fighting a spiritual battle.
“For Yours is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever. Amen.” — Glorify God.
