You have a criticism of someone. Why do you make that criticism? Let’s watch the Pharisees in action and see what we can learn from them,
“Then the Pharisees and scribes asked Him, ‘Why do Your disciples not walk according to the tradition of the elders, but eat bread with unwashed hands?’” (Mark 7:5).
First, note that the Pharisees, and their buddies the scribes, did not talk to the disciples, but to Jesus about His disciples. Second, the Pharisees judged the disciples of Christ by the tradition of the elders rather than by the word of God. For that, Jesus rebuked them.
Before you criticize someone the next time, see why you are about to do it, and decide what your standard is.
