Jesus began a parable in this manner, 

“Therefore He said: ‘A certain nobleman went into a far country to receive for himself a kingdom and to return’” (Luke 19:12). 

Jesus is the nobleman, heaven is the far country, the church is His kingdom, and someday He shall return.
