In the future, we may experience what the early church did when the Jews took a Christian and brought him to the rulers of a Greek city, charging him with harboring men (Paul and Silas), whom they accused of preaching that Jesus is King, hence a threat to Caesar.
Luke wrote,
“And they troubled the crowd and the rulers of the city when they heard these things. So when they had taken security from Jason and the rest, they let them go” (Acts 17:8-9).
The Jews caused enough trouble that the Greek rulers took security from Jason and other members of the church, something that guaranteed Paul and Silas would not cause trouble.
