To the poor, James said,

“Let the lowly brother glory in his exaltation” (James 1:9).

To the rich, he said,

“but the rich in his humiliation, because as a flower of the field he will pass away. For no sooner has the sun risen with a burning heat than it withers the grass; its flower falls, and its beautiful appearance perishes. So the rich man also will fade away in his pursuits” (James 1:10–11).

The Lord knows how to make people reverse their situations in life, but that does not mean the poor are always right and that the rich are always wrong, no, it is a matter of truth and right thinking, whether rich or poor.
