When Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-Nego would not worship the image that Nebuchadnezzar had set up, the Bible says,

“Then Nebuchadnezzar was full of fury, and the expression on his face changed toward Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-nego. He spoke and commanded that they heat the furnace seven times more than it was usually heated” (Daniel 3:19).

Previously the king had looked with favor at these three young men, but when they did not obey him, but obeyed their God, our God, the king had a look of fury and anger at these three valuable men, commanding that they be thrown into a fiery furnace, heated seven times hotter than normal.

Live by faith. People will favor you, then without warning they will turn on you. It will also happen the other way. People will be against you, then they will turn in favor of you.

Whatever happens, just keep your faith in the Lord.
