Rome became so powerful that the Lord revealed to John what the world would do with Rome,

“All who dwell on the earth will worship him, whose names have not been written in the Book of Life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world” (Revelation 13:8).

While the rest of the world worshiped the beast of Rome, you could have found a group that did not, and that group was comprised of those who names are written in the Lamb’s Book of Life.

They are the ones who know that the beast of Rome, and any other beast that arises later, is not worthy of worship, but only the Lamb of God.
