Whom do you worship? Since you are reading this, I will assume that you worship the God of heaven, the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Is there anything or anyone who could get you to stop worshiping God, and perhaps worship something else?

Satan tried to get Jesus to stop worshiping the Father and to worship him,

“Again, the devil took Him up on an exceedingly high mountain, and showed Him all the kingdoms of the world and their glory. And he said to Him, ‘All these things I will give You if You will fall down and worship me.’ Then Jesus said to him, ‘Away with you, Satan! For it is written, “You shall worship the Lord your God, and Him only you shall serve”’” (Matthew 4:8–10).

Satan offered Jesus the world, but the Lord turned it down, even rebuking Satan.

For many Christians, Satan does not have to offer that much to get them to cease worshiping God. Satan might merely offer an offending brother, or a television program, or fun, or…well, you fill in the blank.
