He left the place where we want to go, and went to the place we want to leave. Why would He do such a thing?

“For the Son of Man has come to save that which was lost” (Matthew 18:11).

That tells me two things:

1. He loves us greatly to make such a sacrifice.
2. There must be some horrible danger from which we need to be saved.
