Jesus declared of the spiritual side of man, that the rich get richer and the poor get poorer,

“For whoever has, to him more will be given; but whoever does not have, even what he has will be taken away from him” (Mark 4:25).

If you have a good and honest heart, you will be rich in the spirit, and if you continue with that heart, your riches in the spirit will increase, but if your heart is neglectful toward the word of God, even what little knowledge you have will decrease.
