I do not advise you to speak this way to God’s appointed leaders

To a couple of the men who sided with Korah in his challenge of the leadership and authority of Moses and Aaron, Moses replied on how they could discover whom the Lord wanted, but listen to the attitude of Dathan and Abiram,

And Moses sent to call Dathan and Abiram the sons of Eliab, but they said,

“We will not come up! Is it a small thing that you have brought us up out of a land flowing with milk and honey, to kill us in the wilderness, that you should keep acting like a prince over us? Moreover you have not brought us into a land flowing with milk and honey, nor given us inheritance of fields and vineyards. Will you put out the eyes of these men? We will not come up!” (Numbers 16:12–14).

Picture yourself speaking that way to the men whom God used to deliver the plagues upon Egypt! I do not advise you to speak that way to God’s appointed leaders, even if they are not Moses and Aaron, but anyone who is in a position of leadership and authority, we must honor.
