Jesus was always in control of every situation, and was never alarmed. Nothing seemed to faze Him, because He is the Creator. Yet, we do read this,
And He took Peter, James, and John with Him, and He began to be troubled and deeply distressed. Then He said to them,
“My soul is exceedingly sorrowful, even to death. Stay here and watch” (Mark 14:33–34).
What could possibly have entered His mind that the trouble and distress of His soul could have literally caused His death?
