Do you envy someone? If so, do not rest until you get that envy out of your system, lest it destroy you, or cause you to destroy someone, and that ruin your life. The following demonstrates the power and danger of envy,

But Pilate answered them, saying,

“Do you want me to release to you the King of the Jews?” For he knew that the chief priests had handed Him over because of envy (Mark 15:9–10).

Pilate sought to release Jesus, knowing that Jesus was innocent, and that the Jewish leaders had handed Him over to Pilate because of their envy of Jesus.

Their envy led them to seek the destruction of Jesus, but their envy later destroyed them.
