Not believing Mary

When Mary Magdalene saw the resurrected Christ, she had to tell someone, and she knew just who to tell,

She went and told those who had been with Him, as they mourned and wept. And when they heard that He was alive and had been seen by her, they did not believe (Mark 16:10–11).

Mary certainly knew Jesus, because He had cast seven demons out of her (Mark 16:9), and she followed Him all the time after He did that for her.

Yet, when she went to the men to whom Jesus had spoken often of His resurrection, they did not believe her. Later, they did believe that Jesus had risen from the dead, and then they changed the world.
