The tribe of Naphtali received a portion of land, since they were descendants of Abraham, and the Lord kept His promise to bless Abraham and his descendants with property in the Land of Canaan,

The sixth lot came out to the children of Naphtali, for the children of Naphtali according to their families. And their border began at…And the fortified cities are…This was the inheritance of the tribe of the children of Naphtali according to their families, the cities and their villages (Joshua 19:32–39).

The Land of Canaan is not large, but it was sufficient to hold God’s people, and they could live in it, as long as they obeyed the Lord.
The Bible shows that when they failed to obey Him, He sent foreign powers against them to oppress them, and then they would remember the Lord and His commandments.

The Lord keeps His promises of blessing and cursing.
