Jesus was in a synagogue on a Sabbath, and a man with a withered hand was there also. Luke reveals that the scribes and Pharisees watched Jesus closely to see whether He would heal this man on the Sabbath, and then they would have something to criticize and condemn in Him,
But He knew their thoughts, and said to the man who had the withered hand, “Arise and stand here.” And he arose and stood (Luke 6:8).
Jesus then set out to do the very thing they wanted to see, but not before presenting them with a question that they could not or would not answer.
He knew their thoughts and then dealt with the scribes and Pharisees according to their thoughts.
Jesus knows your thoughts. What shall that lead Him to do in your life?
