I just love to read passages like this one in the Bible, when Joshua reminded Israel of what they were able to do, because the Lord was with them,

“For the Lord has driven out from before you great and strong nations; but as for you, no one has been able to stand against you to this day. One man of you shall chase a thousand, for the Lord your God is He who fights for you, as He promised you” (Joshua 23:9–10).

The Lord drove out from the presence of Israel, great and strong nations, and no one could stand before Israel, not even the giant people in the Land of Canaan who had caused the ten spies to fear.
Just one Israelite could chase a thousand of those people, because the Lord of heaven and Earth fought for them.

Likewise, drink of God’s word, meditating in it day and night, praying to Him without ceasing, and the enemies of the Lord and of the church shall not be able to withstand the Spirit and the wisdom by which you speak.
