Do business

Jesus spoke a parable of a nobleman who left for a far country to get a kingdom for himself, but before he left, look what the king did,

“So he called ten of his servants, delivered to them ten minas, and said to them, ‘Do business till I come’” (Luke 19:13).

Simply because the nobleman would be gone, did not mean that he wanted all his business to cease. Therefore, he enabled his servants to continue his work, and he said that he would return, implying that he expected to see what they had done with his money upon his return.

This illustrates what Jesus would do, and has done partially. He would leave, get a kingdom, both of which He has done, but He has not returned yet.

Are you busy doing His work with the skill He has given to you to do during His absence? Will you be prepared when He returns to show Him what you have done?
