When someone questions you relentlessly, and others accuse you falsely, what do you do? Remember the example of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, as Herod questioned Jesus, and as the Jewish leaders said things about Him,

Then he questioned Him with many words, but He answered him nothing. And the chief priests and scribes stood and vehemently accused Him (Luke 23:9–10).

Jesus remained silent, knowing that it would not have done any good, for they all determined to condemn Him. Moreover, He knew that He had placed His life in God’s hands during that magnificent prayer in the Garden of Gethsemane.
