We confess the truth about Jesus, but sometimes that requires confessing the truth about ourselves, that is, our knowledge of Him.
For example, Jesus healed a blind man, but when people who knew him saw him, they could not believe that he was able to see,
Therefore the neighbors and those who previously had seen that he was blind said, “Is not this he who sat and begged?” Some said, “This is he.” Others said, “He is like him.” He said, “I am he” (John 9:8–9).
By affirming who he was, he then could affirm who had healed him, because truly, it was not about the blind man, but about the Lord Jesus Christ.
How do you see your life? Is it about you and what you want, or is it about the Lord and what He wants?
