The Jews brought Jesus to Pilate for execution, because Jesus claimed to be the King of the Jews, but the Jews did not believe Him to be their King, and in their minds this meant He had to be executed.
Then Pilate entered the Praetorium again, called Jesus, and said to Him, “Are You the King of the Jews?” (John 18:33).
Whether Pilate had an opinion, the Bible does not say. However, Pilate did the right thing by asking Jesus whether He was the King of the Jews.
Do not ask others, whether they think Jesus is the King of the Jews, but ask Him. Read of His ministry in the Bible, and draw your own conclusion.
