After Peter and John discovered that Jesus was not in His tomb, they did not know what to do, unaware of the Scripture that He would rise from the dead. So, they went home,

Then the disciples went away again to their own homes (John 20:10).

Amazingly, in less than two months, those disciples would know exactly what to do, and they would do it with all their strength, and by God’s help, they changed the world forever, and even today, you and I still read their teachings, and we have changed our lives as a result.

Take in God’s word. Let it simmer in your soul. Then be ready to act.
