The church expanded rapidly in the beginning, as the apostles preached the truth publicly, and defended their actions before the persecuting Jewish authorities.
The apostles continued to do miracles (Acts 5.12), and while not everyone joined them, the people in Jerusalem did think highly of the church (Acts 5.13). As the preachers continued to preach, more people believed, and the citizens of Jerusalem continued to bring those needing healing to the apostles (Acts 5.14–16).
When a church fills its town with good works, some will oppose the church, but others will join the church, and some will not join, but will esteem the church highly.
Pray relentlessly that your congregation fill your town with good works.
