After Saul’s conversion to Christ, he went to Jerusalem and tried to join the church there, but the saints of the church resisted it, fearing him. Then a friend stepped in,
“But Barnabas took him and brought him to the apostles. And he declared to them how he had seen the Lord on the road, and that He had spoken to him, and how he had preached boldly at Damascus in the name of Jesus” (Acts 9:27).
Barnabas risked his own reputation to stand with a man who had truly changed. Do you need someone like that in your life? Build your foundation of friends and see how they can enrich your life.
Do you need to be a Barnabas for a friend? Do not hesitate, but be a blessing for your friend.
