Describe conversions

As Paul and Barnabas traveled from Antioch—where they had disputed with some brethren on whether Gentiles had to be circumcised—to Jerusalem—where they would settle the dispute with the apostles, elders, and members of the church—the team of two reported to others of the great work going on,

“So, being sent on their way by the church, they passed through Phoenicia and Samaria, describing the conversion of the Gentiles; and they caused great joy to all the brethren” (Acts 15:3).

We might hold back from doing that, fearing that people might think we are bragging, but we can speak in such a way that we put the emphasis upon the work itself, not upon what we have done.

Also, we do not necessarily have to describe the things we have done, but we can talk about another person’s work.
