Paul and his new friends, Aquila and Priscilla, along with Silas and Timothy, preached to many people in ancient Corinth, so that Luke could write,

Then Crispus, the ruler of the synagogue, believed on the Lord with all his household. And many of the Corinthians, hearing, believed and were baptized (Acts 18:8).

Preaching produces hearing. Hearing produces belief. Belief produces baptism. Have you heard the word of God? Do you believe it? Have you been baptized?
