Without hope

Often we have been in situations where we could not see the resolution, just like the people traveling with Paul on a ship during a horrible storm,

On the third day we threw the ship’s tackle overboard with our own hands. Now when neither sun nor stars appeared for many days, and no small tempest beat on us, all hope that we would be saved was finally given up (Acts 27:19–20).

Yet, they eventually made it out of the storm, although they had to endure a shipwreck.

Our lives are often like that, we think that there is no way for the situation to be fixed, but most of the time, it is.

However, ultimately our hopes on Earth do end, because we have to die and leave this Earth, and go to the place where we experience the rich blessings of God, if we walk with Him all the days of our lives.
