Luke detailed the travels of Paul as he headed toward Rome as a prisoner, and when he, Luke, and the others traveling with him arrived at Appii Forum and Three Inns (Acts 28.11-14), Luke says they found brethren,

When Paul saw them, he thanked God and took courage (Acts 28:15).

May all of us think that way when we see our brethren, especially when we meet new brethren.
