Why call ourselves after any man religiously? Even someone who teaches the truth should not want us to call ourselves after him, but only after the One who matters, as Paul wrote to the Corinthian Church,

Who then is Paul, and who is Apollos, but ministers through whom you believed, as the Lord gave to each one? I planted, Apollos watered, but God gave the increase. So then neither he who plants is anything, nor he who waters, but God who gives the increase (1 Corinthians 3:5–7).

Therefore, be sure that you build your life only on God, for He is the only One who matters.
