Remember yesterday that we learned Paul planted and Apollos watered, but God gave the increase. We need to understand the distinction between God and man, and what each one does, and how much more significant God’s part is. About that, Paul said,
Now these things, brethren, I have figuratively transferred to myself and Apollos for your sakes, that you may learn in us not to think beyond what is written, that none of you may be puffed up on behalf of one against the other (1 Corinthians 4:6).
Let us keep our thoughts within the confines of Scriptures, so that we may all remain humble before God, and not lift ourselves above one another.
