Accepting a fool who speaks the truth

Some people did not like Paul in the first century, and some do not like him today, and he was aware of it back then. However, he knew that the Lord chose him to deliver the Gospel to the world. Therefore, whether he was a fool or not, people should receive him even as a fool, because he spoke the word of God,

For you put up with fools gladly, since you yourselves are wise! For you put up with it if one brings you into bondage, if one devours you, if one takes from you, if one exalts himself, if one strikes you on the face. To our shame I say that we were too weak for that! But in whatever anyone is bold—I speak foolishly—I am bold also (2 Corinthians 11:19–21).

If you do not care for Paul, be sure that in rejecting him you do not reject the word of Christ. Therefore, if you think Paul a fool or something else, still receive him, because Jesus Christ the Son of God sent Paul and authorized him to write Scripture.
