When the Lord strikes the enemies of His people

The Lord had said that He prefers not to show His fury, but if people insist on fighting Him or fighting His people, He will do what He has to do (Isaiah 27.1–6).

He promised that He would make the fortified city desolate and He will show no mercy to His enemies (Isaiah 27.10–11).

Then His children will turn to Him (Isaiah 27.12), and even some among His enemies shall repent and seek to join God’s people (Isaiah 27.13).
