If you are not sure, listen to everything you say for a day, and see what comes out of your mouth. If you discover that you are a complainer, then listen to the Holy Spirit,
Do all things without complaining and disputing, that you may become blameless and harmless, children of God without fault in the midst of a crooked and perverse generation, among whom you shine as lights in the world, holding fast the word of life, so that I may rejoice in the day of Christ that I have not run in vain or labored in vain (Philippians 2.14–16).
Complainers think that life is about them, but the passage above shows that life is not about us, it is about showing ourselves as lights to the world.
Do the people of the world see you as a complainer or as a light in the world?
