Why are men the preachers? Is it simply a cultural thing? Did the New Testament writers hate women? Let us see what the Holy Spirit said,

And I do not permit a woman to teach or to have authority over a man, but to be in silence. For Adam was formed first, then Eve. And Adam was not deceived, but the woman being deceived, fell into transgression (1 Timothy 2.12–14).

First, the order of creation, and second, Eve’s being deceived dictates the current levels of authority in the church. Therefore, it is not a matter of culture, nor did the New Testament writers hate women, but the Holy Spirit moved Paul to write the above passage. It is for us to accept that message and glorify God.
