Do you need me to tell you of the lure of the world? We can read our Bibles daily, meditating on the rich truths we discover. Yet, the world pulls on us with all its strength, and if we are not rooted deeply in the word, the world will pull us up. Therefore, we also need to receive and to give exhortation everyday,

Beware, brethren, lest there be in any of you an evil heart of unbelief in departing from the living God; but exhort one another daily, while it is called “Today,” lest any of you be hardened through the deceitfulness of sin. For we have become partakers of Christ if we hold the beginning of our confidence steadfast to the end, while it is said:

“Today, if you will hear His voice,
Do not harden your hearts as in the rebellion”
(Hebrews 3.13–15)

Who can deny the need for what the writer said to do? Therefore, find someone you can encourage.
