Understanding or picturing what Ezekiel saw in chapter 41 is not easy. However, one thing that struck me was the width of the walls of the side chambers to the temple. For example, verse 9 says,
The thickness of the outer wall of the side chambers was five cubits, and so also the remaining terrace by the place of the side chambers of the temple (Ezekiel 41.9).
If the cubit was 18 inches, then the thickness of the walls was seven and a half feet. If the cubit was 21 inches, the thickness was eight and three quarters of a foot wide!
If you get all this figured out, please let me know.
