The world beats up on us, and the haters of Christ persecute us, but if we remain faithful to Him, He will do something very special for us in the presence of our enemies, as He told the congregation at Philadelphia,

“Indeed I will make those of the synagogue of Satan, who say they are Jews and are not, but lie—indeed I will make them come and worship before your feet, and to know that I have loved you” (Revelation 3.9).

Truly, the Lord prepares a table for us in the presence of our enemies.
