The Lord showed John plainly what shall happen to public enemy number one, saying,

The devil, who deceived them, was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone where the beast and the false prophet are. And they will be tormented day and night forever and ever (Revelation 20.10).

Everyone who fights the church, the Lord shall throw into the lake of fire and brimstone, and that includes the most powerful enemy we have, the devil. John goes on to show that those who follow the devil, will follow him right into the lake of fire.

Oh my friends, follow the Lord Jesus Christ, for that is the only life that matters. It will bring comfort day and night forever and ever.
