Sometimes the Lord uses His enemies to discipline His people, but then He judges those who gleefully participated in the punishment, because they were themselves with sin. Therefore, Zechariah the prophet said,

Then the Lord will go forth
And fight against those nations,
As He fights in the day of battle.
(Zechariah 14.3)

No nation truly wants the Lord to fight against them, because they will lose every time, even as they have lost badly every time in the past.

Currently, the secular world has revved up engine of persecution against the church, but they shall be sorry later. Let us, therefore, be strong in the Lord and watch what He does.
